Domain Registration Services Schedule
This is a Schedule to the General Terms of WashaHost.com. This Schedule applies to the Domain Registration Services defined below, and as stipulated in an Order.
Unless the context otherwise requires, the definitions used in the General Terms apply to this Schedule. Any other terms defined in this Schedule have that meaning for this Schedule only.
1. INTERPRETATION
“Domain Registration Services” – the services that we provide to our customers by which we arrange for the registration of domain names, and ancillary services, the specification of which is as listed and updated on the Website from time to time; and
“Domain Registration Services Fees” – the fees payable to us by you for our provision to you of the Domain Registration Services.
2. WHAT WE DO
2.1 Regulatory compliance: Our Domain Registration Services are provided in compliance with the Rwanda Information and Communication Technology Authority (RICTA) regulations, which govern domain name registrations in Rwanda. We operate as a reseller of accredited domain registrars who are authorized to provide domain registration services under RICTA and other relevant regulatory authorities.
2.2 No warranty: While we facilitate domain registration by forwarding your request to our accredited registrars, we do not guarantee that domain names requested will be accepted, transferred, or renewed by the relevant registrar or registry, nor that any such registration, transfer, or renewal will be successful.
2.3 Domain name registries and resellers: The registration and use of domain names are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant domain name registry, RICTA policies, and the reseller agreements under which our accredited registrars operate. By submitting a registration application, you acknowledge and accept these terms and policies.
2.4 Domain name charges: Any applicable fees related to the registration or renewal of your chosen domain name will be disclosed during the Order process prior to submission.
2.5 Cancellation or suspension by us: We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any domain registration application or refuse to host any domain name if you breach this Agreement or any applicable regulations.
2.6 Renewals: It is your responsibility to ensure that domain names are renewed on time and that all renewal fees are paid. We will notify you of impending renewal dates, but renewal actions and payments remain your responsibility. Failure to renew on time may result in suspension or cancellation of the domain.
2.7 Domain expiration and grace periods: Upon non-renewal, your domain name may enter a protected period and subsequently a grace period as defined by RICTA and relevant domain registries. Renewal during grace periods may incur additional fees. After these periods, the domain will be cancelled and made available for registration by third parties.
2.8 Rights to the domain name: By ordering a domain name, you confirm that you have the right to use that domain name and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
2.9 Service level commitment: We commit to acknowledging support requests relating to Domain Registration Services within three business days and aim to resolve such requests within five business days, although no specific outcomes or timelines are guaranteed.
3. DOMAIN REGISTRATION SERVICES FEES
3.1 Fees: All fees for Domain Registration Services are as published on our Website at the time you place your Order. Fees are subject to change in accordance with Domain Sellers policies and reseller pricing.
